Well looks like a little change from my normal reviews!

However, I was more than pleasantly surprised with the material on this CD.

I can see how Jordan & The Fascination and the Boulevards are connected here. The Boulevards evolved into Jordan & The Fascination. The Gothics, on the other hand, just must be FRIENDS!!

The Boulevards had one released record in 1959 for Everest Records. Subsequent recordings were left on the shelf. With their lack of commercial success the group disbanded. In steps Jordan Christopher. Now with he and three of the Boulevards Jordan & The Fascinations are born. The year 1960. For two years, 1960 & 1961 Jordan & The Fascinations had 6 45’s released. Achieving some minor successes. They should have gone farther in my opinion.

The Gothics were label mates of the Fascinations when both recorded for Carol Records. So I guess that is the joining circumstance for them being on this CD. As with the Boulevards, the Gothics had very, very limited success. Having only two 45’s released.

What you will hear on the thirty-two (32) tracks of this CD, is some super Vocal Group Harmony recordings. Many of these tracks were unreleased. You are going to ask yourself why? I know I did.

Here is what these groups have to offer! Starting with Jordan & The Fascinations on tracks 1-14. The Gothics on tracks 15-22. The Boulevards take tracks 23-31. Jordan & the Lads finish up on track 32.

Very enjoyable! I think you’ll agree also. Released late in 2001, this CD should be available at all your local Oldies outlets. Be glad to assist if you have a problem finding this CD.
