A new series starting!! Doo Wop Divas! From the distaff side of Vocal Group Harmony. Hearing now from the LADIES. Female vocal groups of the 50’s, 60’s and beyond represented on this first volume. I believe you will find these tracks very enjoyable! Let’s see what awaits us!

2. My Love Is A Charm - Shirelles ’58 Decca (Early Shirelles! Nice Ballad!)

3. Please Come Home - Terri & The Sparks (no info) (Voice of Terri & the male back-up group are VERY Familiar!!) Real Pretty Ballad!!

4. Where Is He - Clickettes ’60 Guyden (Barbara English and the lassies with a nice ballad!)

5. Where Are You - De Vaurs ’59 Moon $125 (Another SUPER BALLAD!)

6. Sunset - Shonnie (take your choice! ’58 or ’64 on Sunset) (Shonnie strong lead on this ballad. Ladies behind her are fine also!) play

7. Sorry Daddy - Sweethearts ’61 Ray Star (Ballad answer to Shep & Limelites)

8. Ditta Wad Do - Vestelles ’58 Decca (The future replacement for Arlene Smith, Annette Smith leads these girls to Rockin’!)

9. Love Boy - Gailtones ’58 Decca (Answer to Gloria of the Cadillacs. Nice!)

10. Thanks Mr. DJ - Baby Dolls ’61 Maske (Good job on this ballad)

11. Cause I Love Him - Alder Ray ’64 Liberty (Uptempo Finally!)

12. Memory Lane (S/B Memory Lane Without You) - Chi Chi Macullen (S/B Chi Chi McCauley ’64 Red Bird (Rocker) play

13. Jimmy - Socialites ’62 Arrawak (Ballad)

14. Johnny - Jeanette Baker & Four Dots (S/B just Jeanette Baker w/un-named Dots) ’60 Dubtone (released in ’57 as the Dots on Caddy) (Good Ballad)
